Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut: Discuss the effectiveness of this book

I think that any novel can be but so effective, because usually only the people who share, for the closely part, the reservoirs views bequeath drive it. Is that not why we read? The only time a novel is sure enough effective is when a reader has no prior friendship of the events the book is establish upon, and e rattlingone who might read Cats place of birth has already experienced and formed opinions just about tender-heartedkind nature.         In other words, while I thoroughly enjoyed Cats place of birth, it did not effect my opinions because I already agreed with Kurt Vonnegut. So, although Kurt Vonnegut make keen points, I cannot imagine that it will be very effective, because I define that as effectin g change. Can you picture someone, say, George W., recital Cats Cradle and coming away from it a changed man? I surely cannot, he would only lose respect for Kurt Vonnegut.
